The Permit Center is a one-stop shop for building, planning, transportation permits, encroachment permits, fire inspections, and business licensing. Staff are available to answer questions about the permitting process as well as zoning and land use code requirements.

At the Counter

In-Person assistance is available at the counter, in which a short wait time may be applicable.

Community Development Virtual Assistant

Use the Virtual Assistant to estimate permit needs and costs or to check zoning of a City of Stockton address.

Accela Citizen Access Online Permit Portal

Use the Accela Citizen Access via Accela to pay fees schedule inspections, apply for some permit types, or to check status of a permit.

Easy Inspection Scheduler

Use the Easy Inspection Scheduler to schedule building inspections required for permit processing.
