Parcel Maps are typically prepared to conform to an approved Tentative Parcel Map, consistent with the requirements of the Subdivision Map Act. This Act applies to the subdivision of any unit, contiguous unit, or portion of land listed on the latest equalized San Joaquin County assessment roll for sale, lease, or financing, whether immediate or future.
A Parcel Map shall be filed and approved to complete the subdivision process for a subdivision of four or fewer parcels. Parcel Maps shall be in compliance with the Stockton Municipal Code requirements for preparation, filing, approval, and recording.
