Pacific Avenue Resurfacing
Pacific Avenue Resurfacing Project Map

Night work for the Pacific Avenue Resurfacing Project is underway through October 2017. Patience is appreciated as this short-term construction results in a newly paved street. These are high traffic streets with poor pavement conditions. The last resurfacing was over 17 years ago.

Travelers will temporarily experience rough-textured pavement until the final surface is applied. The completion phase of the project will include utility work and striping.

Project Description

The Pacific Avenue Resurfacing Project includes improvements to 2.3 miles of roadway from:

  • Pacific Avenue from March Lane to Hammer Lane, and
  • Thornton Road from Hammer Lane to El Camino Avenue

The work is being done by Granite Construction Company.

Travel Tips

  • All businesses will remain open during construction.
  • During the day, only one lane or turn lane will be closed, in either direction, at a time.
  • Watch for signs notifying drivers of changing conditions and workers in the area.
  • Allow extra time for traffic delays while work is occurring.
  • Please use caution and reduce speed.
