Operating Subsidies

As the City invests in the development of affordable and supportive housing units for persons experiencing homelessness, grant funds for operating subsidies will be granted to provide case management and housing stabilization services for individuals placed in those units, so that effective efforts can be sustained. Operating subsidies have also been granted for Transitional Age Youth homeless prevention and transitional housing programs to offer shelter and skill building to prepare youth for independent living, and to programs that offer temporary/transitional housing, education, work training, skill certifications, and links to permanent housing for individuals with a history of homelessness or involvement in the criminal justice system.
